Encik Mohamed Akwal
Managing Director

Mr. Mohamed Akwal has more than 30 years experience in the financial sector and corporate banking. He began his career at CITIBANK and then served as the Deputy General Manager of the Danaharta set up by the Ministry of finance to reinstate Malaysia’s economy from the financial crisis in 1997.


With his experience and expertise in the financial sector and debt solutions, he was appointed to assist in Enterprise development financial and Bank Negara Malaysia in 2003 contributed to the opening of the Special Unit Small and medium enterprises (SME) as well as Small Debt resolution scheme (SDRS). Through his vast experience, Mr. Akwal has also been awarded the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) the first in Agensi Kaunseling dan Pengurusan Kredit (AKPK) which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank Negara Malaysia until the year 2011.


In addition, he is also a registered financial Consultant for Shariah-compliant financial and also conventional financial in addition served as Deputy President of the Malaysian financial planning Council (MFPC).


Primary Trainer

Syamsiah holds a Bachelor degree in human resource development from the University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). Through his experience as a trainer, he has trained and guide more than 3,500 participants entrepreneurship in Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak. The participants comprise a variety of his background and has also managed to increase earnings results over the period of guidance.


Syamsiah is also actively involved in Community programmes organised by the Government and private while serving with the Social Welfare Department Sibu Division. Experience managing the disaster victims and welfare aid recipients provide awareness to her about the importance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) because those less fortunate can get more life with appropriate guidance and training.

Khairunnisa Binti Moidin
Primary Trainer

Khairunnisa (Nisa) holds a master degree in business administration. He started his career as a trainee with the aim to make an impact to others while learning new knowledge. Background work experience in several organizations, he has experience in the field of human resource development and management.


In training sessions and guidance to entrepreneurship program and financial management undertaken, Nisa show ability to communicate with participants from various backgrounds and inspire them including community of marginalized, people with disabilities, youth, single mothers and the Indian community in the B40.


NISA is always ready to improve himself and his ability to break down the concept to make it easier to understand by the participant. In addition to run its course, he also serves as a mentor to provide guidance and support to the participants to change lives and motivate them to achieve success.


Up to now a Nisa has trained more than 1,000 participants. Results and positive feedback from their satisfaction and motivation for Nisa carry out its work. Nisa believes that education is one of the factors that may determine the nation’s future and he wanted to take part in building a better future for future generations.
